BUNS IN THE OVEN… We’re so excited with the all the possible puppies “coming down the pike”! Ava and Keeper were bred last month, and as “Luck of the Irish” would have it Ava is due to deliver on St. Patty’s Day! I will post here when she delivers, with pictures to follow! Ava is THE MOST attentive mommy we could ever ask for. She dotes on her puppies; her healthy offspring are the proof of her natural maternal instincts and dedication to the task at hand Shortly after Ava’s litter arrives, Lucy and Keeper (Keeper has gotten little rest this month, but hasn’t seemed to mind…), are to deliver puppies two weeks later, around 3/31. Lucy is capable of throwing black, red, cream, and apricot cream and mixed w/Keeper’s red/cream combo we should have some beautiful colors to choose from! Lucy is medium in size and has a lovely wavy fleece coat. And lastly, Cooper has just come into season and was artificially inseminated on 3/1/10 with Harley as the stud. Cooper is due on or around 5/9 (yes, Mother’s Day)! This will be Cooper’s first litter, so we’re very excited to see what she produces! Cooper can be viewed, along with the other pairs on my “Meet the Parents” page. Cooper is our tallest girl, stands about 21” and weighs 30lbs. Being bred to our “mini” stud Harley should produce a nice range of sizes for us! So…don’t fret families awaiting your little bundles…good times are almost here! |
